To be resilient you have to be strong in the Lord.Ĥ. Habakkuk 3:17-18 Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barre n even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! “It is God who will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”ģ. But I have heard it said about you that you can hear a dream and interpret it.” “I am not able to,” Joseph answered Pharaoh. Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and no one can interpret it. He shaved, changed his clothes, and went to Pharaoh. Genesis 41:14-16 Then Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and they quickly brought him from the dungeon. May the name of the LORD be blessed.” Job neither sinned nor charged God with wrongdoing in all of this.Ģ. The LORD has given, and the LORD has taken. Job 1:21-22 and exclaimed: “I left my mother’s womb naked, and I will return to God naked. Resilient Christians give God the glory after disappointments, in the storm, and after the storm.ġ. “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”.“You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice.”.They don’t have to dictate where we’re going.” “Tough times never last, but tough people do.”.Christians will fight through persecution, abuse, pain, and hardships because of our Savior King Jesus who is our motivation. Use these hard times to grow in Christ and use them for a testimony. Aren’t you more valuable than the birds? Rest assure that God will always provide for you. He hears the cries of the birds and provides for them. God never gives up on us and we are to never give up on God.Īs we see in Scripture, God loves His children dearly, but that does not mean His children won’t go through trials. People look on and wonder how can He still serve God joyfully after all the trials. Through the severe storms they continue to serve the Lord and honor His name before others. We know that our hardships in life are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.īelievers who are resilient never stop trusting in God even when things don’t go their way. When our mind is set on Christ, we will have joy in times of trouble. Resilient Christians look past their troubles and put their mind on Christ. Be strong in Him and seek peace by keeping your mind on Him. If He’s always with us, then He will help us. Jesus Christ told us that we would have tough times, but He also reminded us that He would always be with us.
